THE GEORGE INN AT FROCESTER

An Eighteenth Century Coaching Inn in the Heart of the Cotswolds. The George Inn has stood at the centre of  the rural community of Frocester, near Stroud in Gloucestershire, since 1716.

Only five minutes from the Cotswold Way and Junction 13 on the M5.

We pride ourselves on extending a warm welcome and invite you to sample our real ales, excellent home cooked food and warm log fires. The George Inn retains its traditional atmosphere with no fruit machines or jukeboxes. We have a lovely courtyard garden, overlooked by the original coaching stables, where you can play boules or just relax and enjoy our food and drink in the sunshine.

The George Inn offers en-suite accommodation, a large function room suitable for weddings and parties, village bar, lounge bar, and beer garden. We pride ourselves in the use of local farm-assured produce and stock a wide selection of real ales and excellent wines.

For the real ale enthusiast there is usually a choice of four real ales which change regularly including beers from Smiles, Black Sheep, Wadworth, Timothy Taylor & other breweries.
